And yes, I still read the book, ignoring the advice of Catherine and Celine (who for once were of agree) that I advised against reading this book, I purchased.
"I was disappointed in the end," said Cat. Well if it's a history of late ..... And I am frustrated ..... And when I'm frustrated I'm irascible and .... Oh shit I took.
So here I am immersed in this crazy world and what the future pessimistic that depicts John Teulé.
Yes our future, even if it is not necessarily obvious at first. Future friendly but black, no flying cars, but not sad people, pollution and mind-bending trivialized suicide.
What is this book?
Tuvache The family keeps the shop suicides Beregovoy Boulevard for several generations. Within the depressive wishing to end their days may find plenty of articles to get there, it's going to poison cocktail kit Seppuku through the traditional rope noose. They live and suicide are very austere.
But now, after having tested a condom with holes (to get caught in one that uses a sexually transferable) rare object they can test, they become the unfortunate parents of little Alan.
Unfortunate yes, because Alan, unlike his brother and sister, is always happy and sees only the good side of things. This is the drama of the family Tuvache.
Everything is described very played down.
short enough to joke about a subject so serious yet.
From the story itself I would say that a good laugh, but I found the author's style is very simple, even too. Yet I expect that the author of Darling (I board that read but not seen on film) a job a little more elaborate.
I thought it went too far at times to the point that it only becomes more credible without being the real sience fiction. Yes rains sulfuric acid could have been without it for a simple rain privileged standing. Quit talking about pollution as well do it right.
Also I found it quite repetitive, which for a small book does not leave much room for a real story.
When at last I have an impression of sloppy book written during a sleepless night.
So yes I listen to the advice, because even if I had a good time, I was disappointed by this book and especially the style of the author.
